Ready for the Fight

  • Ready for the Fight

Well boys and girls, with the Warriors needing two wins from two (and other fortunes to go in their favour) we have our team named for part 1 of the challenge.

Cappy has resisted the possible temptation of making too many changes following the capitulation against the Roosters by naming a fairly similar squad. The biggest casualty has been Feleti Mateo, who has been dropped to the NSW Cup. Mateo will be replaced by the returning Sam Rapira – who himself played in the Cup last week. Rapira will start from the bench, joining Suaia Matagi, Sebastine Ikahihifo, Jayson Bukuya and John Palavi.

The winner of the day, making only his third top grade appearance this year, is Dominique Peyroux. Peyroux comes in to replace the injured David Fusitu’a – who suffered a dislocated shoulder in the opening five minutes against the Roosters – and will start at centre with Ngani Laumape moving out to the right wing.
